I went on a 14 day Alaskan cruise in 2004 on Celebrity cruise lines and it was AWESOME! I went on the last cruise of the year in September. The weather overall, was pretty good. We had a couple of days of rain, but for the most part, it was either sunny or cloudy. As for seasickness, I didn't get sick, but my wife felt sick one night. Dramamine helped her with that. We took the first seating for dinner as we wanted to eat early, but if you have a lot of late excursions, then the second seating would be best. If you don't have one, I would invest in a good digital camera with image stabilization. You will take a lot of pictures! We took over 4 thousand pictures. I think that you will have a wonderful time. Enjoy!

Alaskan cruise... cold. We needed to wear our jackets in June so beware. It did not rain on us, but we brought rain ponchos just in case. The rocking of the boat is a lot less on an Alaskan cruise. My mom was with us and she usually gets sea sick, but did not this time. It is beautiful and vast... amazing. Something you will appreciate seeing. Beware though... don't take an excursion to see the Bald Eagles. One of the ports you will visit will have them everywhere... you can see them for free.
