My son was always in the 95th percentile for weight and I was really concerned but as soon as he started walking at 10 months he slimmed down and now at 18 mo. he doesn't look like he was ever a heavy baby. Yours will too once he starts walking

Depends on his height. Mine little girl was 10 pounds 6 ounces at birth. She is now 14 pounds, and she will be 16 weeks on the 23rd of this month. He might be a bit overweight I am not sure, what I can tell you is that she was in the 95% for her weight and height. I don't remember her height.

NO NO NO please don't start worrying about you baby being fat. That baby needs all the fat he or she can get. Most young mom worry about there baby being to fat but trust me the fat from the milk there gettin is helping them grow it also helps with there brain development so when he gets older give that baby WHOLE MILK it support brain development. I would rather give my child the best healthy start then worry about if he or she is getting fat

so the answer is no he's beautifully

Listen, babies are just like people. They come in different packages. He may be a little chubby, HOWEVER, personally I would rather see a chubby baby than a skinny baby. Besides, they will grow out of it. My babies were on the chubby side, and they grew right out of it. Don't let other people influance what you think about your baby. You know if your baby is healthy or not.

My son was 17lbs 2oz at 12 weeks so I would say dont worry about it. My son is now 3 and a half and he is the same size as other 3 year olds that we know.

Most doctors have a 'scale' that they like your baby to stay on track. Depends on their birth weight & length. Don't worry. I have 2 grandsons, both 3. One is chubby & the other is slim but they're both healthy & energetic: they just look different but who cares. Just don't start him on cereal too young & enjoy every second with him.

Listen, my girl was a chunky monkey. My doctors always told me to put her on a diet. I refused because she wasn't fat, she was a chunky little baby. A baby will eat when it is hungry and stop when it is full. Needless to say, your baby will lose all that weight as he grows.

No. He is almost three months old.

Your pediatrician should have seen him a few weeks ago, since he was due for a shot. If your son was too large, the DR. would have said something.

my baby was 10 lbs at birth. How tall is he?? I think there's a 12 week check up and ask your dr. what % he is. They can tell you if he's big for his height. I bet he's cute, I love chubby babies.

He is not too fat, but it sounds like he is eating a bit much? I hope you are not feeding him more than breastmilk or formula. If you are, STOP. If he is eating normal amounts of formula/breastmilk, you should contact your pediatrician because it may be something else. Good Luck
