If you giving an example regarding journalists in Iraq, then no. This is because journalists should have the protection of U.S. soldiers. This matter is different then, lets say, pilots. Pilots are allowed to carry guns because there is no special security force to protect them from being harmed. Plus, if an attack was to occur, that would be a violation in homeland security. An attack in Iraq would be otherwise considered normal. So back to journalists, I believe that they are in danger but should not bring guns because they are protected by U.S. soldiers overseas.

they have every right as a citizen to get a gun as protection. i just ask that they dont go around shooting everyone up...the police have that job covered already...lol jk jk
