If I could conveniently ride a city bus to work I would. Unfortunatly I cant. I have when I worked at other jobs and enjoyed relaxing on the way to work.

If it was reasonably possible I would but I live in Idaho where they apparently don't know what public transit it. The better question is why I can catch a public bus from Chugiak Alaska to Anchorage Alaska but I can't take a bus from Boise to Mt Home? The only option is commuter van but if you miss this private servies ride there are no other rides to catch.

One of many problems in America that allow the gas companies to raise the prices is that we live inconvinently. You have to drive to the store becuase the stores are so far away and so is work. Or if its even with in reasonable distance the roads there may be unsafe for pedestrians.

If I could get to work on public transit I would. How I hate this state.

I have been reduced to that all my life because I have never been able to afford a car. Gee I must be really low according to your statement. However, I can laugh at the price of gas because i don't care. I walk everywhere that I need so I only use the bus as a backup and as far as prices going up, I guess I will buy less merchandise and cut back on stuff. I might be funny to see all the spoiled drivers have to walk like I do as they think they are too good.

Not really. I used to ride public transpo then I bought a car. Fortunately, I have a fuel-efficient car (Toyota), plus I don't go out as often, only when I need to... (like going to work and grocery shopping, etc) and having a car is a necessity and not a luxury so even if gas prices are high, I'd still use my car.

I thought of getting a motorcycle liecence, and getting a 80cc motor scooter. I tried cutting down on my driving habits, but it doesnt work for me. I like to shop at nearby garage sales, grocery stores, and dollar shops, so a scooter would be perfect for me. Those habits keep me busy, since i have no other routine hobbies. I think i would ride a bicycle before public transportation.
