Assuming you two are not little bitty kids ... try getting a couple 6 foot tall book shelves. Have one facing your side of the room -- the other facing your sisters. Then use the backside of her bookshelf as a place to hang your bulletin board -- and she can do the same. You can buy the bookshelves in places like Walmart or Home Depot for $30 - $50 each. Storage space and privacy all in one ......
Good luck....

Ask your parents to install a track for a curtain onto your ceiling. Then the 2 of you agree on a fabric and have curtains made or choose some cute already made curtains.
This option will also allow you to "open" your room so that you can entertain friends and will not cut out light on either side of the divider.

I suggest curtains- they allow privacy, but you can still crossover easily, or maybe those Chinese walls used to change behind... I don't know what they're called

Maybe you can look up in the phonebook for a carpenter in your area, tell him what you need, Ask his advice and if he would do the job, and how much would he charge..........
