Relationships are a two way street. You both bring strengths and weaknesses to the table. Your strength is your romantic nature that will increase the sexual healing every relationship needs. His may be financial strength or whatever. Don't be too hard on him. Be the romantic you want to see in him, lead by example. And also develop a love life with yourself. Go to movies alone, talk to yourself, read self help books, treat yourself to a mini vacation, go shopping. Fall in love with yourself and do romantic things for yourself. You will see that once you love yourself 100% it doesn't' matter about others shortcomings. Still let him know you would like flowers and candy, or whatever gestures you like. But don't expect him to guess. And don't expect him to change. If he wasn't romantic when you met him, he is not going to be romantic now. Or maybe he just isn't' romantic in your definition. Is he faithful? Does he take you places? Does he give you a shoulder to lean on? Romance is sometimes being there weathering storms, not just what we as little girls read in books or saw on movies.

I thought I was the only one with that problem, I try alot always make sure he know how I feel about him, I noticed if I just kind of back of leave him alone don't be to overly affectionate for a short period of time then he usually will try to say something sweet or try to make feel special to him, not all guys are going to be romantic, if he shows you he cares in other ways thats just who he is, but let him know that sometimes it would be nice for him to try to be romantic in his own way, because you need to feel special to from time to time.

Maybe you are trying too hard. I know when a woman gets a new look and starts doing things for herself, taking a class for fun, new hairdo, some new clothes and spends time away from him, he perks up real fast usually. Makes him wonder whats going on? lol
