the people at nude beaches should go to the public beach

I prefer public.
but yes I've been to a nude beach... FOR A SCHOOL FIELD trip!! Imagine that.

I only go to nude beaches...started as a freshman in college and have gone nude for the past 4 years. It's a great way to relax and enjoy the beach...nude beaches are public beaches in most cases, so while most people there are naked, you will find a number of curious "prudes" walking through for a look. That's just a part of being naked in public...not a big deal for most of us. Most people who try a nude beach never go back to a regular, clothed beach...if you're thinking of doing it, I'd say to go for it as soon as possible...you'll totally love it!

I have been to a nude beach in:
(1) NJ....Sandy Hook.
(2) FL....Playalinda
(3) CA.....not sure of the name, but a beautiful place north of SF..
(4) NC...Hatteras Island....not an official nude beach, but lots of room to be nude on the beach without offending the non-nudists....
I am to the point where if I think I cannot be nude, I will not go to a beach......why wear soggy clothes for no reason......
and to answer Ms Shyann.....the fig leaf is symbolic of the covering between man and God....Adam and Eve were hiding their shame of sin against God.....their sin was not being naked....it was the sin of disobeying God's commandment to not eat the fruit of a certain tree....our "fig leaf" now is the work done by Jesus...and there is no reason for shame for the bodies God has given us.....

I'm afraid of nude beaches, because of those people who are like, 60 walking around with it all hangin out. I've only been to a regular public beach.

I have been to a nude beach but it wasn't really sectioned off as such. Everyone was there clothed or nude so it was no big deal really. I don't think anyone cared that I was nude

There is a cove on Lake Travis, outside Austin, Texas called Hippy Hollow.
It used to be just a hard place to go find. But today it has a state parks sign by the road. Pay the $4 admission fee and you get to see maybe 4-5 decent chicks with their dates. Maybe 2 lesbian couples and tons of curiosity seekers unwilling to take their clothes off. The best part, I guess, are the male hookers hanging out at the men's bathroom. You can recognize the "cowboys" as the hookers are called by the fact they wear nothing but dress socks or cowboy boots.

back in the 70's wreck beach was a nudist beach. then they built stairways and now it's called clothing optional. this is in van b.c. and was it ever a lot of fun. bring lotion and money for beer etc.
