I HAVE GOTTEN SOME STUPID ANSWERS MYSELF, I CAN ONLY THINK IT'S BECAUSE THEY DON'T CONSIDER OTHERS.

Some have no life, however I attributed the no life folks to us who answer these questions. But, in a lot of cases, these people who put up silly or stupid answers are looking for attention, trying to look cool in front of their friends, or don't know the answer and trying to avoid looking stupid. I am sure there are other reasons but I choose to ignore these silly things and only pay attention to those who are in here to help others, like me. Good question!!

It's because people ask stupid questions!!! Someone put that there are unsupervised kids on here..Heck I'm 50 years old and I think stupid questions get stupid answers.
I love the answer with a question...Why are fish wet? Exactly the same principle.

Sometimes the question is so stupid that invokes a stupid response and sometimes some people think it's cute to be stupid and them at other times the answerer's are just stupid.

no it's not because they have no life it's because the questions asked on yahoo are stupids questions and therfore deserve a stupid answer

I agree,I've asked questions and have received great,helpful answers. I asked a question lately and didn't get one answer that helped me or answered my question,just dumb immature answers. I gave some off answers before just fooling around because the question was lame and asked several times.I also have given many more helpful answers.I guess sometimes it's the mood we are in.
