Sorry, I just read an extremely racist question and I was going to post these words but before I got done, the question was deleted, and I thought I would just put that here. Also what do you think about racism? Are you racist, if you are, go ahead and tell your side. It won't hurt my feelings if you hate white people. But read this and tell me if im wrong.

I would just like to say that "White people" is a very generic, broad topic and phrase. They call that stereotyping. They call it that because not everyone that is apart of the "White people" group acts the same way. I could be chinese, Mexican, or British but it wouldnt make a difference. How I was raised is how I act. I'm sorry for some dumbass hicks who act the way they do. Just because they were raised to hate African Americans doesn't mean ****.

You were obviously raised to hate white people. I'm sorry dude, but you are just as much the problem as those dumb hicks. People like me just want to get along but you don't see that, you can't see past my white skin. What right do I have thinking that just because you're human being that I can trust you? I guess I have none.

I don't know what it's like to be the target. Absolutely I do not. Nor do I make racism a problem. Racism isn't just a fancy word. And that word wasn't just created by white people for leverage. It simply means and form of discrimination of alienation because of race. Traits we all notice that come with race is the color of your skin, and many other things (like the size and shape of your nose for example).

The reason it's not a problem in most other countries is because America is the most diverse nation in the world!!!! Aperantly, most americans dont like that. They want America to themselves and people just like them.

IF you go anywhere in Europe, there are people of race, shape, color, and all that good stuff. But, those countries have been around for 100s of years. America is fresh, new. We need to learn to deal with our diversity.

I am not a racist yet I have been told I am by a few people. It seems in this politically correct society if you happen to disagree with the majority you are whatever name they hang on you. It seems when I voice my opinion it is said I am a racist yet all I am doing is stating the obvious. Are you a racist because you have a rebel flag in your pick up window? I say no. I say it is there to show one is proud to be a southerner and show off to others that they are from the south. If you happen to only date women of your race this makes you a racist , I think not. As a man of color once said " you can not call me a racist because I want my grand children to look like me". I pointed out that a man of color said this otherwise people would be screaming about how white people are so narrow minded and racist. By the way he was also a judge and prominent lawyer in town, which throws out the question of intelligence.I believe that if most people were truly as open minded as they claim we would have a whole let less name throwing and a whole lot more understanding that sometimes a statement might not be what it appears to be.

Don't believe all of what people put in here. I saw one guy going on about how he hated whites and how blacks rule, but when I answered his question, he contacted me and was conducting a survey for his class to see what the reactions would be. I do not believe or follow any kind of racism nor do I take kindly to those who are. I simply avoid them though since talking to a true racist is like talking to a bible thumper; there is no way to get through to such a narrow, ignorant mind. Racism is worse to me since those who are racists are loosing out on meeting and knowing some really great people of all nationalities. I guess that is there loss though and one they will never understand. Hope this helps!!

This is a great question. To give a best answer i need a drink of wine. I'm latin. I live in latinamerica (thanks god), for what i read here you are shooting each other all the time about the color of sking. Dear, yu are very right in "almost" all you said. And believe me, i consider that some or many black people are even more racist than white ones. I don't know, this is like a fashion thing in the world right now, promoting "human rights and all that crab". I'm mixed. I believe in "LOVE". And Love has no color. People who is making questions and enphasize the color of the skin, do not love. Stay away from them. Lack of selfsteem, that is the answer.

I am mixed and I was raised in a very racist environment now and growing up. Skin color only really means something because Americans make it a issue, other countries are not nearly as bad (well unless you live in Africa) And by the way unless you are a minority and know and have it like I do everyday, Shut your mouth about Racism, you don't even know what it is like to always be the target!

It depends. A lot of girls kinda go for guys within their own race, while it doesn't matter to a lot of other girls. I guess if your friend is going for girls that have a completely different skin color, he *might possibly* have a more difficult time? There are a TON of women who are very tan/have darker skin color too though.

I'm sort of confused. Nobody should be raised to hate anyone else. I'm multiracial, and didn't realize this until i was in 1st grade and living in a slightly more racist part of the country than where i was born. I've never understood the logic that says that people have different capabilities and tendencies because they are different colors. I have freckles... does that mean every part of my body that's darkened by a freckle should like rap music and have bad credit, but the whiter parts of me should like country and go horseback riding every weekend? every person is different, not based on their skin color, but based on what they like, who they are, how they act and where they live! I don't like rap or country, I don't dance well and i don't ride horses, I have great credit but horrible grades.

so... what race does that make me?

Skin color shouldn't matter, but unfortunatly it's the first thing people notice when they see someone. I'm not racist, but I like to joke about stereotyping. And as far as trusting humans, it's difficult because we are all born with deception.

racisim is a touchy subject with me b/c i've been a victim of it because i dont dress act or talk like other "black people". i cant help what i am! i was raised in southern california and grew up down the street from the beach, that's my culture. as for people rasied to hate other groups...i dont blame them b/c that's how they were taught, but i can only hope they grow up to learn that they're wrong in their thinking..

You know there is always going to be someone who hates. If I were you please don't get all worked up about it. It is not worth it. I have talked to people from England, Scotland, India, Africa, Pakistan and USA on Yahoo Answers and the majority of people on this planet are peaceful, fun and loving people.
