What is an OPEN WAR to you?

War is War. People die in war.

If Hezbollah did not want this war, then why in the heck did they decide to send missiles into Israel and kill innocent women and children? (Also have not seen a lot of reports on how many Israelis where killed by the Missiles.

I think that Israel is actually fighting FOR Lebanon to help it get rid of the terrorist. They are being held hostage by them.

ADDITION:
I am amazed and almost shocked that some people would think that it has anything to do with Bush, and that Israel should not be fighting or doing what they are doing.
What the heck would you do if some terrorist organization was running Canada and decided to start shooting Missiles towards Boston, Ma, or Chicago? Would you just sit there or want to kick some butt?
No different for them. They can not afford to show weakness to terrorist like the complainers would show!

Israel has a long standing record of not messing around. They give a decisive and strong reaction whenever they are messed with. Lebanon is not the target. Hezbullah are able to use Lebanon to attack Israel from. If Lebanon can not control the actions of people within its borders, then oh well, Israel has a right to defend itself. And I do not recall Israel ever asking us to fight their battles for them. Only that they be given the means to fight their own.

I think Lebanon should've expected this type of reaction from Israel. Israel has *never* played around or been gentle when their countrymen is harmed or threatened or if there's some threat of danger to the country as a whole.

Israel is being immature and pompous because they have America's support (or refusal to admit that we made a mistake for supporting them so many times in the past) for just about anything they do.

This is a bad sign . I'm afraid this will grow into something bigger . That is what the terrorist would like , the whole Middle- East at war and we will be drawn into this before it's done .

I think Bush is going to use it as an excuse to keep our boys deep deep DEEP in the middle east for a long time.
