There must be life after death, I remember how I was shoved off this mortal coil the last go-round. And the name of where we go when we die? Home. Birth is more of a death to the spirit than death is to the human form. We are distanced from our creator, and confused... how did I get here, and where did this green place come from? I have no proof but my faith, but I will add some validity for your sake- I spent seven years Atheist. Then I started reading, voraciously, for I have a philosopher's heart and I could no longer ignore that fact. I do, however, have proof that God exists- She loves me very much, and never leaves my side. You can call that the placebo effect if you want to, but it certainly does intrigue me, why a placebo should work at all? I am a conscious creator, lots of people shuffling around this planet manifest negativity without even realizing that they brought this upon themselves....My Lord and Lady may have fingers and toes, yes, for humans have made God in our own image. But the Creator.... a little sliver of that same divine energy resides in all of us. I urge you to quit ignoring it.

Unless people start coming back from the dead, there is no proof of life after death, nor even any reasonable evidence of it. In the face of no rational basis for a claim, the default position is always 'false'. The reason for that is pragmatic - most unsubstantiated claims end up being wrong, and the reason for that is that the number of possible false claims is limitless, whereas the number of possible true claims is finite.

How can one prove a belief? While i do believe there is an "after-life" If you don't believe in a certain belief sysytem, any proof they have is quickly dismised.

Science and physical proof refers to the physical world, therfor can't be applyed to the soul, which is not physical in nature, so in unbound to the laws of the physical worls, which is where the next life lays.

I think there is if there was something unfinished.
Long story sorry!!!!
Years ago, I lived in Waco and had the best neighbor ever. She was a nice older lady with bright red hair. She treated my family like family. She didn't have any grandkids but to her, my brother and I were her grandkids.

Maybe 5-6 months before we moved to Fort Worth, she died inside her house and we never got to say goodbye to her because we were out of town.

If you stood in our front yard, you could see in her house through a side window. It was our last night in waco and we all pilled in the car and started out of the drive way. I looked over at her house, and in the window, she was standing there as if to tell us bye. I remember seeing her bright red hair and her figure in the window. It was like she was telling us bye and I remember saying to my self, saying to her bye. There was dead silence in the car. As we were like 30 mins out of Waco, I said to my family I think I saw miss ruru tell us bye and they all had seen the same thing.

Sorry so long but I do believe the dead walks among us.

No. Yes you still exist but in another state where you are not aware of anything and you are at peace. Sort of like you are in a never ending dream, but with no dreams.

No, I don't believe so. There are many who would argue, however. To me, when you're dead that's it. No fantasies of the mythical heaven and hell. Those were invented by mankind as a solace or a torture, whichever you prefer.
