Slurred speech, trouble walking, loosing inhibitions, louder than usual, change in personality. You can tell if you are until you get too drunk and then all memory of the evening will be lost.

i think it's harder to tell when I'm drunk then when a friend is drunk. after years of drinking i know how much i need to drink to become drunk and that's what i gauge it off of. Not what i feel or do.

Sometimes you can't tell when your friend is drunk, like my brother and my boyfriend both show hardly any signs, but some people make it obvious. Their words slur, they laugh more, might be more touchy feely, stuff like that.
And you can tell when you are tipsy because you find that you can't say things (like millenium) and your laughing at things that aren't that funny, and you feel kind of funny, like dizzy and slightly ill.

it's quite simple to tell if my friend is drunk cause it acts and TALKS quite diffrent than usual. i don't have friends that were drunk in my company only relatives. oh, and i can't tell if me myself am drunk cause i've never been drunk... or maybe i was when younger and didn't realize it.
it is harder to tell on ppl that u don't know whether theryr drunk or not cuz u don't actually know how they normally behave.

Everyone has little "tells" when they are drunk. I move my hands uncontrollably, one of my friends looks away when he's talkin to you... Over time you will get to know these tells!
And if you need to ask this question, you need another strong one!

I know that my best friend is drunk when I hear my cellphone ringing at like 3 int he morning. It seems to be his thing everytime he gets drunk expect drunken phone calls from him.

simple, i know that my friend is drunk when he talks and i can't understand even a single word he says, and i know that i am drunk when i agree on everything he says. do you understand? if you don't, then you are also drunk.
