I will answer this question, because I do not know how old you are. God made sex to be a beautiful expression of love between a man and a women when they were married. The point being to enjoy your loved one but most of all to be able to have a family, and love and enjoy your life as adults should.

well naturally to pro-create. as animals [yes, humans are animals] our main reason is to live long enough to have children and to raise them to be old enough to fend for themselves. but now-a-days since humans are such an evolved creature, we have established sex to be more than just pro-creation. we tie it with pleasure as well as an emotional connection with the ones we love most and a spiritual connection.
now the question you should be asking yourself is which is the reason why you want to have sex?
