what are the most important issues, to you, that will determine how & who you vote for. I'm not interested in your party affiliation, just your issues. You can tell me why if you want to.

The upcoming elections are for seats in Congress and in the Senate. Given that six years ago we were not paying 3$ a gallon for gas, the police had to knock on your door and identify themselves before entering, the Israeli's were withdrawing from Lebanese and Palestinian territories, the economy was robust, interest rates were low, and the world was a much more peaceful place... I'd have to say that even though I've been voting as a Republican for the last 16 years, this time around I'm going to take a serious look at the other guys. Our country and the world has gone to **** these last few years.

Did someone smack you upside your head? It's 2006. The 2008 elections are a year and 4 months away.

(the elections are in a year and 4 months, sorry)

but still: we need someone who is genuine and has a firm belief in issues like the environment and liberal stuff like gay marriage and helping out overseas in places like Darfur, not just Iraq. I swear, if John Kerry becomes president I WILL move to another country. that guy nothing but a product of his influences... he disgusts me. whenever I heard him on TV in the last election it would actually put me in a bad mood.

....huh?

~~~~~~~~~~
Some of the people who answer here really burn my butt. I mean, seriously, what is the deal with all this panic over illegal immigrants! It makes me so angry. Don't people realize that this so-called issue is a smoke screen to keep people from recognizing the rotten economy, the continued unnecessary deaths over seas, and all the other crap that has been going on.
And what of the immigration situation?! Look at your lives, HOW EXACTLY are you personally affected negatively by people desperate to better their lives for themselves and thier families. Really, how exactly!!!
Okay, rant over. I still don't get your question, but the idiots really came out of the woodwork on it, boy oh boy!
