If Psychics are real why don't we ever hear of a Psychic winning the lottery?

I'm really curious about this... I'm not trying to poke fun.

Because psychics receive information, but they have no control on it. They can only see what is shown to them.

You do not mess with the "Natural" order of things, just because you can "See" the lottery numbers doesn't mean that you should play them, because that could be taking away from the "Actual" winner and that could cause a big old chaotic hassle...-sighs-
You know I get this question a real lot, how come psychic's this and psychic's that.....How come people who aren't psychic don't play the lotto more often? How come people who aren't psychic do anything that a psychic is supposidly do...-sighs-

Probably because most people who are psychic don't even know that they are! Everyone has "some" degree of psychic ability, whether they fully realize it's potential or not. And, just because someone knows they have psychic ability doesn't mean they know how to control it. Few people do. And of those who do, their psychic abilities may have nothing at all to do with "reading numbers"... there are lots of different types of psychic abilities, most don't have anything to do with "reading minds" and such like you see on T.V..... do the research if you really want to know.
And one more thing- it's probably accurate to say that most "psychics" who advertise their "abilities" for the purpose of financial gain ARE "frauds" just out to make a buck.

Psychics aren't real, someone who claims to be a psychic will probably answer this question and tell you that it just doesn't work that way, but they are lying. I used to work in a pizzeria in my town and there was a psychic shop down the street that used to call and order pizza at night. The "psychics" would always ask me the total, one night I said "Why dint you tell me?" They didn't find it nearly as amusing as i did. Psychics are fakers that just want either attention or your money.

If any of the lottery winners are psychic, they certainly wouldn't say so. They would get mobbed by other players asking for winning numbers, or held hostage for numbers, exploited by any means the criminal mind could imagine. I would like to think that anyone given that gift would not use it for thier own personal financial gain.And if they did, let's hope they would have that gift taken away.

Hahah, I’m a professional psychic, that’s a good question and one I remember asking myself years ago.

I remember to this day, I was sitting in meditation, allowing myself to follow the instructions in a book about opening to channel, when I was overcome with an inner blinding flash of light. Then, there as clear as daylight, on the screen of my mind stood an old guy looking very much like (the old) Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars movies. He gave me his name – Quasar, spelled it out to me and advised me to look up the name in the dictionary for its meaning.

He then proceeded to give me three lotto numbers, yes just three, and said “watch the TV tonight and you will see these three numbers in this order as the first second and third numbers to be drawn. IN THAT ORDER!” Well of course in those days “I” wanted to be in control. “Three numbers?” I said, “just three?” “I need SIX to SPEND the Rest of My Life!’

Hahaha - NO WAY. All I got was “if and when you need all six you shall be given them. These three are just a sign while you further develop psychic ability and to help you believe”.

Well after that session ended, I forced a new meditation, forced an imaginary meeting with Quasar, imagined another three numbers and rushed to the shop to put in my SIX numbers for that nights lotto draw.

That night’s draw came and I sat eagerly watching. First number RIGHT! Second number RIGHT! (Now I got goose bumps) Third number RIGHT! Instantly I crossed my fingers, crossed my legs, my eyes, anything I could have crossed I did. But that was as far as the luck went. My next three numbers weren’t even close.

That was twenty odd years ago; I will let you know if I’m ever given the winning numbers. All of them this time!

You answered your own question. Because they aren't real. When this question is posed to them though they always take the high road and say things like "Because I refuse to use my gifts for financial gain"

They, of course, never even think about the fact that they could donate the money to charities.

As for "messing with the natural order of things" and other such garbage -- I'm no expert but isn't announcing to an entire world of people information they would have never found out on their own "messing with the natural order"?

Psychics don't exist. Anybody who thinks they do are welcomed to furnish proof to randi.org, claim the million dollar prize and donate it to cancer research funds.

Or would curing cancer "mess with the natural order".

Maybe because GOD is the only one who knows all things. I guess a real psychic recieves the information they need to know, no the information they want to know. They are kind of "instrument", for good or bad.

After they win, they quit being psychics. The no longer need to rip people off.

2) Their powers are limited towards things like, 'ghosts' and other things like that ... not the future.

The hardest thing to predit is the future. However, they say that everything is connected ... synchronicity ... and if someone could pick up the ripples of waves of synchronicity, such as murders, etc, they can be helpful...
