toshiba ts10 help...?

How can i fix my Toshiba TS10? My sister dropped it in the toilet and it turns on fine, the only problem is it wont read the SIM card. I even tried 2 other SIM cards in it so we know it's not that the sim card is broken, we are guessing it is the sim card reader. And we did let it dry out, it has been 3 weeks that it has happened and no luck so far. Does anyone know what i can do to fix it? That way we don't have to get a new phone?

Most service shops will not even attempt to repair a cellphone that is water-damaged. I'm afraid you're looking at a replacement.
