I don't know about Prosacea but;
I was diagnosed last year with rosacea and I was prescribed tetracycline and noritate cream. It didn’t really do much for me. This past May I ran into someone I knew with rosacea and she looked symptom free. I asked her about it and she said by chance she had a really bad sinus infection and her doctor gave her azithromycin or (Z-Pack) for it. (its the antibiotic you only take for 5 days instead of 14 days) She said it totally cleared up her rocacea so she got an extended prescription for it and she has been symptom free for 4 years. She said initially every few months she would notice a little flair up and take another Z-pack for about 8 months and then it was totally gone.
Of course I wanted to try it and I did this past June. I also have had no rosacea symptoms!!!! It took about 10 days and my rosacea was TOTALLY gone. It's like a cure. I'm so excited about it. (only a frustrated rosacea sufferer would understand this)
My rosacea was not too severe since I had only had it for about a year but I had small bumps and rough feeling skin along with very red streaks especially on my right cheek. I have noticed this month that my cheeks are starting to look a little pink again so I ‘m taking another dose of azithromycin as of yesterday. I hope this information can be passed along and possibly help others.
Keep in mind that z-pack is not a known remedy for rosacea so your doctor might be sceptical about it, but it REALLY REAllY worked for me.
This is the only reason I joined this yahoo thing. I know how frustrated I've been with my rosacea and I wanted to try to get the word out.

Hi, I have never heard of the product you are asking about, but Arbonne International suggests these products to try for Rosacea. The company has a 45 day return policy so it they don't work should you try them you can return them. The products they recommend you can find at www.wonderful.myarbonne.com You can pay a $29.00 sign up fee to get 35% off everything in the catalog. They call it a consultant, but you do not have to sell anything. I look at it as a Sam's Club membership. You also have the choice of just paying retail. The products are listed below:
Cleanser: Arbonne Intelligence Dalily Cleanser, Arbonne Intelligence Daily Balancer
Moisturizer: Arbonne Intelligence Daily Moisturizing Cream, Day & Night, Arbonne Daily Eye Cream
Specialty: Arbonne Intelligence Rejuvenation Crea,, Arbonne Intelligence Skin Conditioning Oil, Arbonne Intelligence Personalizer, and the Arbonne Baby Care SunScreen SPF 30+
You need to stay away from any of the NutriMinC RE9 line. That is why they suggest the baby sunscreen, because the adult sunscreen would not work for you...it would make things worse. Good luck to you with what ever products you use. I had a friend who had Rosacea so I know what you are going through.

You really need to read "Rosacea Free Forever" by Laura Taylor (also available in electronic format here: http://www.rosaceafreeforever.info ). It's about how to permanently cure your Rosacea naturally. I cured my Rosacea permanently in only 4 days after reading this.
Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.
