The good in someone or something. Beauty can also be bittersweet, for example: A war that brings peace through death. It's beauty, but it's also horrible. Beauty is used in many other ways, such as refering to sex. But all in all beauty is an opinion, on weather you think that there is some good in the object or person, situation etc. that you are examining.

When I look at a landscape, or the stars, or a plant, I think it is beautiful because it is almost like someone made that, and if they did, it is soooo creative. And when I look at a painting, or a drawing, or any other media, I find it beautiful becaus it is almost as if it all naturally came to gather (the paints, the colors, the numbers, the pages, the letters, etc.) and it makes me feel I'm looking at something natural in retrospect to a "man-made" art.

There is no definition. Whatever YOU find to be beautiful and makes YOU happy is the closest you can get to beauty, despite the social "norms"!
