You are old enough in my opinion when you are mentally ready. Age has absolutely nothing to do with it because there are thirty year old people who still aren't ready and there are thirteen year old people who are ready. I think if you don't regret it and use proper protection then you are old enough. You just have to make sure you make the right choice for you and not do it just because other people are doing it.

It's a very private and individual decision.
The longer you wait, the better you will feel when you look backat this time in your life.
You can never take it back or undo the experience so be sure you really cross that decision with the 'right' person who I think should also be your best friend. My husband is my best friend and that makes all the intimacy with the sex so much better than any fling.
and yes use protection ... you can't undo a mimstake like that either and some STD's are life-long not to mention the possibility of creating a life.
Be patient --- a guy worth having is a guy who won't pressure you -- sounds lilke you just need to decide for yourself....
You could just decide to reevaluagte in 3 months.... then it doesn't feel like forever... then three months go by and you think ok, I'' evaluate in another three months, pretty soon you can trust in yourslef that you made the right decision.
Good luck!

If you are still in school and too young to get a job to support a child, then you are too young to be having sex. I had sex at 15 with the guy I had been 'dating' for three years. I got pregnant at the age of 16 (same guy) and he didn't stick around long after that. So just because you think you are in love and that you will be together forever doesn't mean it's true. If your'e not ready for a child, then your'e not ready for sex. Even if you think you are being safe about it. I wouldn't trade my son for anything, but it would have been nice to give that 'gift' to my husband.

Cultures are different around the world. Some cultures think that sex is OK when you begin puberty. In America the thought is that you are too young until you reach the age of 18. Sex prior to that is illegal in most states, especially if the guy is over 18. Father's know best!!! Good Luck

You are old enough for sex when you are old enough for the responsibility of parenthood, if you happen to get pregnant (or to the guys out there, if you happen to get a girl pregnant). That age varies from person to person, but it's sure a lot older that 13!

females at this age often mix sex up for love or believe that this is the only way to capture a man's (in this case boy's) attention.

your pu**y is precious, and they ALL want it... make sure they are worthy of it, and willing to do whatever it takes for it. Remember you are IN CONTROL because of this simple fact, they ALL want it. Tap into that control and use it, to whatever advantage you desire.

i was 16, i wish had a different view back then. i dont regret my first, i made sure he was committed to me... but after your first it doesnt seem to matter as much who it is.. i thought i was being choosy.. but truly i wasnt...
so remember your Pu**y is precious...
learn to love it and yourself before you just give it away.

well...you're old enough for sex when you're aware of the risks, fully understand what you're giving up, comprehend relationships on an adult level, and are developed enough to enjoy it.

Another way to tell is you're old enough for sex if you know and excersise the difference between the words "to" and "too".
