When you start getting stubble, throw them away. If your a guy at least once a week, gals about once a month our hair isn't so coarse.

It depends on the brand...how often you shave..etc.

If you start to notice a lot of nicks it's time to break out a new razor.

One suggestion...I use an electric razor and then a disposable for 'touch up'. The disposable lasts for weeks for this minor duty and I get a closer shave than with just the electric alone.

Until you can feel that the razor is "dragging" across your skin. Usually 3-5 times, sometimes more, depending on the quality of the razor. I've noticed my razors last longer than my husbands, but he has a very thick beard, and I only have to shave my legs a couple times a week.

well it depends on whether you're shaving your face or a larger body surface such as your legs. and then again, it depends on the thickness and length of the hair you're shaving. obviously if you're shaving off a full beard you're disposable razor will probably be spent by the time you're done, but if you shave daily it could last a while. it's more of a preference for you and how long you deem it's effectiveness and whether you care about possibly tossing 50 cents by throwing it out early.

Well, if you have a wife, g/f or daughter who likes to uses yours. I would change it often unless you want half your face ripped off the next time you shave, otherwise, it will last for a month or so.
