This is a really good question! I try to share my zest for life with others by letting them know how a particular experience will be interesting to them; for example, I'll say, "you've really got to catch this new musical with me -- and you'll love it because it's about one of your favorite subjects -- life at sea!" Or, "you've got to try this new Thai restaurant with me; I know you're leary of foods you're not familiar with, but as much as you love spices, just wait til you taste the way they make their chicken dishes!" Things like this usually get me to influence someone to share in new adventures with me, and I'm happy (and relieved!) to say that they're most often glad they gave something new a shot!

I try to be upbeat and show enthusiasm when I am working with a group of people. Humor and enthusiasm are infectuous.
