Well since most of the culture has been destroyed and traditional family groups have been scattered across the land, it's the only spiritual connection left

I don't think it should be.

I mean it is quite rude to just 'kick out' someone from their land and no one has the right to force someone to move.

But, really, does land matter much especially if you don't have permanent buildings on it? It's just land...and there was plenty of free land back then.

Because if they can keep the land claims issue going then they can keep getting dollars from the Feds...god forbid they actually had to work as a society.

because it is theirs . Their ancestors lived there and they live there and they want their kids to live there forever if need be
