What ever you do DO NOT marry this guy. If he is abusive now he will only get worse if you marry him.
If you don't want to talk to him then go to court and get a Restraining Order. That way if he continues to call or come around you or your home then you can call the Police.
Don't listen to any apologies he may offer either. Abusive men often apologize (in tears, even) but it means nothing as they will continue to abuse you. Do you want to have kids with this guy? He will probably abuse them too.
Dump the jerk!! Any way you can.

This is an extremely common trait amongst abusive partners. It is called the cycle of violence. He is probably being sweet and loving and everything, and he will be great, until you go back. Domestic violence only ends when the abusive partner gets help. THEY DO NOT CHANGE ON THEIR OWN. If you choose to marry him, expect the abuse to continue. Atleast now you have a chance to break free and have a normal life.

Stay away. If he is abusive he will not stop until he serious hurt you. Marriage will not make anything better. He probably knows that you want to get married and is playing on that. MOVE ON!!! You do not deserve anyone putting their hands on you. LOVE DOES NOT HURT AT ALL!!!

He has shown to be a real butt head so why continue?? Getting married Will only make you the target of more aggression. The only paper that should be between you two is a restraining order against him.

I would normally say get a restraining order and go into hiding
but you basically have asked this question 10x had 103 people tell you to stay away so if your waiting for someone to tell you to stay then just stay/

Stay away from him completely. Do not answer his calls or allow him to see you. The key word is ABUSIVE, ABUSIVE,ABUSIVE. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT THE WORD ABUSIVE MEANS HE WILL PUT A FOOT IN YOUR -----, WITHOUT ADOUBT. PLEASE DO NOT BE BLIND TO THE FACT THAT HE IS REALLY A DANGEROUS, INSANE INDIVIDUAL. MOVE ON QUICKLY. ASK PARENTS, FAMILY MEMBERS FOR HELP. DON'T BE FOOLISH AND SNEAK OUT AND BE WITH HIM ANYWAY. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN HERE TO YOU.

GET PROOF OF HIM ABUSING U AND TAKE IT TO COURT GETTING A GOOD LAWYER IS A GOOOD IDEA TOO.
