wELL i DO SEE THE POINT TO YOUR QUESTION ,(opps)
yes in a way I do agree with you, based on current situations. But come 12/2012 when everything changes, then collective thoughts can become limitless.

I do not agree with your comment. First of all, the question itself is quite vague, Ideas as in scientifically, religous, medical, social? If you break down sub categories of humanity, you will end up with countless new and different ideas. 1000 years ago no one would have thought about building a rocket to the moon, walking on it, then returning. Look at what has technologicly happened in the past 20 years alone, and you will see a vast array of new ideas. The next 20 years will be the same, provided we don't blow ourselves to hell and back.

As long as human beings continue to exist, they, collectively have an infinite number of thoughts available to them via building upon those before them.
As you point out though, repetition of thoughts would seem to make it somewhat limited.... BUT continual, so the opportunities would be available for "new" thoughts over time.
As individuals, the actual capacity is unlimited for thought but within the time restraints of ones lifetime, it would be finite. I also think this is a valid (good) question! Thanks!

No, we don't.
Yes, over the years. It's perhaps only slightly different. But over a long period of time it involves and becomes different. If you compare us with our ancestors you will be able to see a significant change in our thoughts and the way we live. For instants when we started using machines we had more time to relax. Therefore our whole lifestyles changed. The morals, what is important to us, imagination, dreams, etc…

I believe a human mind will go as far as the person will let it go. You always got to remember you control your mind.
You open the doors in your mind and if you find the right openings. Through God it will never stop. Your mind will take you far and you will never stop thinking. Even in your sleep. You have to learn how to retain the thoughts your mind will give you. Everything other than natural things a human mind created. you just have get to that
point of mind state. then the impossible. is not so impossible.

All evidence certainly would suggest that, although the number is likely greater than the number of Planck distances in the universe. Combinatorial math gets big REALLY fast.

No, though it may not be easy to understand the aesthetic-- or how brilliant scientists even -- may go beyond the given discourse. However we have historically expanded our language and knowledge Synthetically. There are still boundaries to think, un-think, and re-think. They just aren't as tangible as you'd like them to be.

No, I think we are absolutely unlimited in our number of thoughts. There are new things to ponder every minute of every day. Imagination is limitless!
