no it would probably not change their sexual preference just make the person way less trusting of that sex and more careful

Yes it does. If you're raped by someone of the same sex, when you are young, like abuse, you're more likely to have homosexual tendencies. If it's the opposite sex that rapes you, you're more likely to be promiscuous with the opposite sex. If it happens later in life by a stranger it usually just makes it harder to be intimate with anyone for awhile. In truth it all depends, I was abused(on going) by several different men(stepdad and friends of the family) when I was a child, I ended up very promiscuous with men.

I've got two friends where it did affect them, but I've got one that it didn't. They were 3, 8, and 18 the first time and it affected the two youngest.

yes and no. i have a cousin, she been raped and molested since she was small and she is straight gay and can't stand men. but me on the other hand i been through the same thing but i love men and women. people have there own way of dealing with things.

Rape is a verb, therefor you cannot be rape. Perhaps you mean being raped, a completely different gerund.
