I had my tarot cards read twice and they both said that I am a strong-willed powerful person who will succeed in life. What does that really mean?

it means whatever you want them to mean. Tarot is not actual, however, that reading sounds good, you should take it serious. Self suggestion is the key to success.

I read cards but have never considered doing cold readings professionally.
It is a difficult thing, you know, here you are sitting across from a client who may think you know everything about them. On the other hand, they may be just waiting to trip you up with something.
I do an astrological spread of my own devising. Still, with the 15 cards I turn over, I urge the client to talk more than I do. The tarot is a mirror: monkey looks in, a philosopher does not look out. I try to get the client to reflect upon what that message may be about.
To me, what you were told sounds like a standard come-on line. Like the gypsy fortune teller: "I see that sometimes you are happy, and sometimes you are not so happy. Isn't that right?" Who is going to dispute that.
My advice to you: learn to read your own cards.

Its pretty simple. You like to have things your way, even if it mean that you may have to get everyone else on board with you and your cause. Strong willed isnt a bad term it just means you know what you want and you, in most cases wont take no for an answer. Nor will you let somoen else tell you what you can do or not. Anything you basicaly set your mind to and put worth the effort will b accomplished by you.

That is a general feel-good answer. Do with it what you will, but know that the tarot reader probably says that to everyone who's willing to give up a few bucks.

The readers could be 'going' by your birth sign (that is if you gave it them???) In numerology, the more 1's (ones) or 4's (fours) that you have in your birthday, can denote the 'strong-will'. Independent nature, taking on big tasks in life, etc.As far, as the "will succeed in life" statement, personally, I don't know of too many readers, that are going to say, the opposite.

it means exactly what it says. strong-willed just means that you don't stand down from a challenge and you go after what you want. Powerful means strong personality, strong mental capabilities, strong convictions, etc., not physical power.

it means you have initiative and desire, and with those things you will succeed at whatever you accel at.
Tarot is not the ultimate fortune seer, it is a tool. And usually a tool to help someone answer their own questions by helping them focus on the real matters involved.

Mimi...I read cards....and this I have to say...you can read anything into them....tho there are times that 'something' is odd, maybe a harbinger of what is to prepare for.....however, the cards are really JUST a reflection of your own heart....and honey I gather yours is strong and wonderful.
