I need to remove the hub at home and take it to the shop. As there is no tow companies willing to come this far out. the local garage does not bring in vehicles and I'm sure it will destroy most of the wheel components if I even try to drive it. the car only has 100 000 km on it and body is great I don't want to give up on it. I have a short socket set but need to know the size to go buy the right one.

The front spindle nut on a 1994 Ford Tempo is Thread M20-1.5, Hex 30mm, and Height 18mm. The rear spindle nut is the same except the Height is 8mm. So you need a 30mm wrench or socket.

Here is a photo of the rear Ford Tempo spindle nut: http://www.rockauto.com/ref/RB/Detail2.html?http://www.dormanproducts.com/images/items/hwrap1/615-101.jpg
