Forget marriage (unless it has to do with your religious values) and forget age what really matters is what is in your head. Are you mature enough to deal with the consequences of your actions?
You may be 25 and not a serious person that just wants to go around and sleep with every girl or you may be an 18 year old that really loves his girlfriend!
Obviously age matters if you're 13, that's simply too young.. But starting from 17 ( around ) it's OK and normal to consider it. As mentioned it's not just the question of it being right or not, if it's YOU are ready for it.

There is no right age, it is a mind frame. If you and your partner are in the right mindset with each other then age does not matter.

18 because in some states you can actually be charged for a crime having sex as a minor (not to be confused with with a minor but as a minor. seriously

are you ready to handle the responsibilities? are you ready to support a child if you get a girl pregnant and she decides to keep it? What if one of you gets AIDS, could you handle that?
If you answered yes... then im sure your ready, there is no right age its just when you can handle it.

rightfully till you are married... save it for the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with. it really depends... sex before marriage have lots of risk...
i am sure you wouldnt like to hear from your future partner that he/she have slept with many people before. somehow people will judge you differently..
think twice.
