There's nothing we should do. It's all God's work. Issac and Ishmael. Isn't it ironic that this fighting is really between brothers?

There should be absolutely NO aid given to either side from the U.S.
1) We've already screwed ourselves over from entering Iraq, and Afghanistan. We went into a war without much knowledge of why we were going to fight it. The extremist mind has yet to be reasoned with, and so we are getting blamed for taking too much action at some times, and not enough during other times.
2) Fighting in the Middle East is very much a different form of our elections. We have Democrats and Republicans, they have Muslim, Jew, and a slew of other religions. True, we don't go around killing the opposing party, but that region of the world has played the game a lot longer than we have, so they take different measures.
3) I personally don't think we should aid any other countries for the next 50 years. It does not bring us any fame, and we normally lose money in the process. In fact, we even get pinned as the world bully or showoff. Basically, we'd be better off to protect ourselves and just keep trudging along with scientific advancements so that good ol' Stephen Hawking's prediction won't necessarily happen.
P.S. There's no need to use my last sentence as a spin-off for another stephen conversation. I was simply trying to make a good conclusion for my argument.

The US has no need to get in the fight. Israel has not attacked or done anything to the USA. But other countrys around that area has. Afghanistan harbored a group of people that attacked the USA and killed over 4000 people. Israel as never done that anywhere without being attacked first. I feel that Israel is a big enough to take care of it's own police action and don't need the help of the USA. And they are not asking anyone for help. So why should the US get involved?

The US should have taken Saddam out said "sorry about that mistake" and let every one go after each other as they've been doing since probably the start of time and let them do what they do with out stepping in unless they threaten the US.
Another option, build a wall, didn't work for Berlin but it did wonders for China for years. Now if this is a wall to keep Americans in America or Middle Easterners in the middle east that's up to King George.

America's hands are tied. If they openly support Israel in the conflict, relations in Iraq could go south in a hurry. The only thing the US could do is try to get the sides to resolve the situation diplomatically. It is senseless. All Lebanon had to do was turn over 3 kidnapped soldiers and the fighting would not have started like it is now.

These people relay hate each other. As far as I can see it, the only chance is to build a wall 100 ft high and all around Israels border. Most important, never allow the Israelis and Arabs to cross that border for any reason.
If they could stay away from each other for a thousand years, then there is a chance this waring could stop.

The real question, is why are the Muslim extremists now bursting at the seams to do stupid things to provoke more wars? Is it because of the US media beating up any one who is for hunting down terrorists? Or is it the people who want peace at any cost who would rather see innocent people around the world be killed so that they do not have to defend freedom?

Nothing really that they can do but the BEST thing to do is not to appear to take sides with the Israelis, since this would only serve as a ridiculous reason for terrorists to cause more chaos and havoc.

We can shed the need to be right...but at the same time, we cannot afford to turn a blind eye or deaf ear to world problems...and America is in the forefront for world peace...coupled with economic concerns. We can all begin to seek unity in spirit and balance within the infra structure of humanity...namely "us" and some day...it will make a difference...if not for us...for future generations.

Do you think that Israel is acting without our approval and consent? They are doing our work for us. Lebanon, Syria and Palestine are training grounds for suicide bombers, and terrorists, the same terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 and other countries including Britain and India. Lebanon alone had 300 missiles on their border trained on Israel. Let Israel clean them out. Go, Israel, go.

We should take the opportunity to get rid of the evil muslim, terrorist regimes in Iran and Syria. Taking those people out will ensure peace in the middle east forever afterward.
