There is a disparity between what we see or read as to what is actually going on. Everyone has an opinion or agenda to propagate...and our news is tainted by it. I want the truth and nothing but the truth...even when it isn't what I want to hear. Truth is liberating; and will set us free. We aren't given enough credit for our ability to deal with real world issues and a lot is hidden from us in the name of "protection".

I care to hear 'good' news. The real news & mainstream media don't comfort me, they sort of piss me off the way they are so eager to report that they come out with anything to report even if it is a threat to our national security by being so relentless to convey things that are better left unsaid. [Oh! Thanks for giving the terrorists more ideas!] I'm sure you know what I mean!

I would appreciate the media more if I knew I was receiving the truth. But like the guy above me said, some things are better kept a secret.

there is no such thing as REAL news today. just consists of who's dying, who's dead and who might die soon. not even the weather is looking good. just stick to ESPN and you'll be okay
