I tried Planned Parenthood when I was 18 and that was a disaster. Scared me to death. Didn't go back until I was 22...and it was because I was having problems...and it was a good thing I did. I ended up (after a few months) getting ovarian cancer (although, I think it is due to the stupid Depo shot I was on that made me bleed for 9 months straight)...and they were able to catch it in time. I wish I would have gone earlier to a regular gyno rather than waiting til I was 22...

11. I was having terrible periods and passing out every day that I was on it, and they were lasting anywhere from 6 days to 18 days. I had to be put on birth control to regulate everything.

I was 18 or 19. I can't really remember which. I wish that I had gone sooner.

You should go when you're 18 or whenever you become sexually active, whichever comes first. If you are experiencing abnormal periods, you should go sooner.
