I think that you are trying to be funny, but the thing here is that the Pirates need new management from the owner on down. It is sad that such a historic franchise can not be run by a Pittsbugher with deep pockets. A winning team will draw 2 million fans a year..

It would be rather difficult to go 60-30 the rest of the season because they only have 71 games left.

Pittsburgh will never win as long as they don't pay money for good players. How could they let Barry Bonds get away, and Bobby Bonilla. Look around the league, many excellent players were in Pittsburgh and went elsewhere because they are cheap. I'm glad I grew up when they won the 1971 and 1979 World Series. Won't happen if they don't spend money.

I could see them winning 40-45 of the rest of the season. Make no mistake, they are a dangerous team.

lol....if they could go 60 and 30 that would be great but they couldn't possibly do that because they play less then that....there best player is a Canadian by the name of Jason bay and by the trading deadline....they will be Sellers...unless they win an un reasonable amount of games before then...most of there top players will be gone...

I'm a Cub fan...I hope the Pirates pass us because Dusty is clueless and I want his act out of here ASAP...you guys pass us and the heat on Dusty will intensify...only one team in baseball can be in SIXTH place and that is where Dusty belongs...GO BUCCOS!!
