I think human nature is the root of all evil. Greed, lust for power and so on.

Please explain the following on the practice of religion:

1)People have diseases

2)People overdosing

3) Kids growing up in homes with no or poor parents

4) Robberies

5) Rapes

6) War War I, II, Vietnam War, Civil War

7) Teen pregnancies

8 ) Drug addictions

None of these "miseries" have anything to do with people practicing religion. Many are infact are due to the lack thereof.

I get so tired of people who dont practice religion thinking they are so smart by putting everything bad in the world on the people that do practice it. And as far as politics, this can be good or bad. Try to take away the government and law and order from any nation and see if it last more than a day.

I think that politics is definitely part of the problem and religion also plays a role in all the turmoil in this world. Everyone thinks that their own religion is the one that's telling the truth and that their the ones who are going to wherever they go when they die. If you think about WWII, the Jews were persecuted (they've always been persecuted because of their religion.) Everything happening in Darfur with ethnic cleansing and in the Middle East because the religious groups can't coexist. To me, religion is just a way to separate people, because in the end, most religions preach the same thing. They all preach about love and peace on the Earth and to respect each other and live a clean peaceful life.

Differing religions and different political beliefs are very much the cause of problems in the world. The world was also a safer place before technology made it so small and so easy to destroy each other.

Of course they are the misery of this world. You're right. More people are killed because of differences in these two areas. But a lot of the killing has to do with lack of education, I think. The more free-thinking and educated a population is, the more they have control NOT to kill over these differences.

False religions are, yes, root causes of many miseries in the world. The Creator does not tell people , mortal or spirits, what he must believe. Individuals are given freedom. That is the way they can learn.

if by religions you propose Christians, i recognize of no misery we reason. A church construction has to have money to pay the electric powered and water bill, gas bill, upkeep, pastor's pay verify, Sunday college books, etc. no man or woman is forced to provide. human beings supply freely from their heart. Our pastor is surely just about undesirable. We supply away outfits, footwear, college substances, dolls and teddy bears for the nursing homestead, we keep groceries handy in case all people hungry stops by for help. We supply gas money to the needy, purchase prescriptions even as necessary, etc.

No. They do it because of a little thing called "sin". The Apostle James explained in when he wrote "Form where comes war and fighting among you? Do they not come from the lust that war with your own bodies? You lust, and have not. You kill, and desire to have, but can not obtain. You fight and war, but still have not, because you do not ask (from God)." The only solution to the situation is a saving faith in Christ which removes that sin and desire from you.
