my friends name is friday and sometimes people make fun of her like "friday going out on a date on friday" or "hey friday were is your boyfriend wednesday. what shoul she do?

what's her middle name?
if it doesn't sound weird like saturday, or sumthin' start telling people that's her new name,
or is there a different quality thatshe has and come up with a cool nickname or something...

It reminds me of a little piece in a movie, I'm thinking about the older flick called Sabrina. The rich old man is moaning about his chauffer's daughter being named Sabrina, "What right does a chauffer to name his daughter Sabrina?" The wheeler-dealer son, Humphrey Bogart's character, retorted, "What do you thin he should name her, Ethyl?" (Ethyl was not only a popular woman's name of nearly a century ago, but the name for a grade of gasoline).
So what should she be called? The French associated Friday with Venus, which sort of sexes up Friday's name a bit, I expect. Named after the Norse deity Freya, their equivalent of Venus, Freya had tears that turned to gold (she also had a thing for dwarves, so the short guys ought to perk up at that).

She shouldn't worry about what other people think of her, she shouldn't worry about what other people say about her. I should know - people at school call me "fat" all the time, but I just ignore them and be who I want to be, not what the others want me to be. Besides, I believe Friday is a pretty name - it's eccentric, and very rare. I love being different - everyone should do the same.

Friday is not a weird name .Some people just like to make fun and its not nice to tease people like that. My name is April and people make fun of my name and they call me ape or apple .

you should give her a nick name so everyone doesn't have to call her that. by the way where are you girl when this is happening you should stick up for her.

my nickname is Friday, it does not bother me any. I love Fridays so my mother-in-law calls me that.
