Is internet impersonation illegal in MI or SC?

Today I discovered that another individual is pretending to be me on several internet sites. She uses a fake name, but has posted pics and video of me and my kids (with their real names), without my permission, and is passing it off as herself. I'm concerned about my children's safety, and trying to decide how to proceed.

I would go to the police, this is nothing to fool around with... cuz i know of a situation back home where someone has done a similar thing to someone else -- or so they say.....
