Well thats great you get along with your dad but maybe your mom acts jealous cause you wont include her in the thing you do or with you at all. MOMS are MOMS and even though we come out the wrong ways all we realy want is to be a part of our childs life great or not.Ok you go to daddy alot but what about mom there is some things that mothers are better at and i think if you just comunicate with her and include her in your life you will see that resentment go away.

It's common for girls to get along great with their dad and not so great with their mom. Lots of times moms have this idea that their girl should be their best friend. It seems that moms freak out when the girl doesn't respond as the mom thinks she should. Then when mom sees how easy dad gets along with you, and you with him, it makes her jealous. You need to spend time with your mom. Unfortunately, parents are no different than kids. Each wants to be the "best liked" and if they feel like they are being short changed with your time, they freak out. Share your love with your mom. Good Luck

I had the same problem ... now my dad is dead and I have tried to talk to my mom about it ...
She tells me that she was jealous because I always wanted to be with him and she wanted to be my best friend and do everything with me.
**I always thought she resented me for taking so much of my dad's time ... I was wrong.
Maybe you should talk to her and ask her what she thinks of how wellthe two of you get along.
