I just had a baby and I am packing unecessary weight and am prego again 4 mos. I already have the belly of a 6 mos old prego woman. If someone has some advice on how I could trim up, without harming my unborn, please let me know.

You probably didn't have a chance to get rid of the weight from the first baby so don't stress about being bigger than you think you should be.

Just do some low impact cardio as often as you can and don't expect to lose any weight like the second you drop the baby. I made that mistake and couldn't zip up the pants I took with me to the hospital. I still had plenty of weight left but it all went away on it's own within a month and within the next two weeks I weighed less than before I got pregnant. Good metabolism I guess but here it is 5 years later and I am progressivly gaining weight for no reason. Maybe I should take my own advice and get my butt on a treadmill ;)

After you have the baby you probably won't have time for much exercise but try to get a double stroller and walk as much as possible if nothing else. Congratulations and good luck.

I'm in the same boat you are... and the best thing you can do is not to start any strenuous exercises (unless you were doing it all along). You could take brisk walks, and do some light yoga/Pilate's, but you shouldn't be lifting any heavy weights or doing StairMaster.
As for your belly, it's due to your second pregnancy. I was surprised to see how big I looked compared to the first time around. I think it's just body memory. If you've been nursing your first, continue nursing... and repeat with the second. It's the best way to melt away the pounds.
Once you've given birth and recovered, you can hit the weights (which in my opinion are the best) to not only lose the weight, but get into even better shape than before... that's if you can squeeze the time in between your now growing family. Good luck.

Your main focus right now should be your unborn baby as far as your weight is concerned. After you have this baby (6 weeks postpardum) then you can start to excercise. My best advice while you are pregnant is to eat healthy and try not to gain as much weight as you did with the first one. Not to mention your stomach will "pop" earlier with the more kids you have because your stomach muscles are already stretched from your previous pregnancy.

You should speak with your doctor. Lots of exercises are safe during pregnancy, but this is not the time to try to get in shape or lose weight. It's also very normal to get bigger faster with a second pregnancy. You should keep active while pregnant, but also accept that you are not going to be slim and trip for at least the next five months.

Do some walking or prenatal yoga. Before you put anything in your mouth, remember that it's something you're putting in your baby's mouth. (Consider whether it's the best choice for the baby.) Also, try the Pregnancy Without Pounds website and newsletter for great tips.

Do not diet, don't over exert yourself. Your body is already strained from having two kids so close. Just eat healthy and try to get moderate daily exercise. Just worry about it after the baby comes when you can get more aggresive with it.
