How can Buddhism like me play a song? Well I have some ideas.

We Belong Together
Auld Lang Syne
Dust In The Wind
Gomenasai
Wake Me Up When September Ends
Bring Me To Life

Why don't we play "Those Were The Days" or "Amazing Grace"?

As other answerers, I want party too. No sad!!

I want two songs - I want my cousin to sing "Wayfaring Stranger" at the service and I want everyone to sing "When the Roll is Called up Yonder" at the gravesite. Oddly enough, I have actually given this some thought. LOL.

I don't know anything about Mariah Carey's music. Sorry.

Everybody's Talking by Harry Nilsson

"Everybody's talking at me. I don't hear a word they're saying.
Only the echoes of my mind. People stopping staring
I can't see their faces. Only the shadows of their eyes.
I'm going where the sun keeps shining
Thru' the pouring rain
Going where the weather suits my clothes
Backing off of the North East wind
Sailing on summer breeze
And skipping over the ocean like a stone"

Added edit: Why are you asking this question? It's not up to us to plan our own funerals. I hope you're ok and just asking.

uhhh....ok, I have a question. Why are you planning your funeral? I actually did that when I was 27 and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I threw them away though when I beat the disease. Hopefully you aren't dying anytime soon!

Now, to answer your Q- I Will Always Love You by Dolly Parton, Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings, and From A Distance by Bette Midler.

I wouldn't want something super sad...after all, everyone must go at some time! I would want, like, Soul Meets Body by Death Cab for Cutie or maybe if it was, like, a tragic death Gone Away by The Offspring.

Oh, yeah, and then in honor of me, they would have to play Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!
