whats the best way to get over someone that you really care about, that was a big part of your life, and everything remindes you of them i really need help to get them out of my head

It is tough to get over someone, it seems hard now, but, it will get better. Try something new. change a lot of things in your life, paint your place, eat at a different place Move go join a fitness club hang out somewhere new. Waste a lot of time on Yahoo Answers. Find a fun Message board, take up cooking look for support. and try not to waste too many tears.

Look for someone in your community who is worse off than you, and try to make a difference in their life. Think about what volunteer work that you could do, that could help others.

I find that you have to treat this sort of situation, almost as if the person has died. You do go through a grieving period, which is normal; you grieve for what might have been, and for the profound loss of someone that you cared about. Cry as often as you think you need to; but you also have to think about what you can do for others. Please don't try to find another relationship quickly -- that usually ends in disaster. Give yourself some breathing room.

Move on - have fun and hope they are miserable as hell - :o)

Find a new hobby, make new friends and keep yourself busy.
