I have a circut with 3 wires and only the black and red are being used. Can I use the red wire on another breaker and use the same common wire that is in the box on the other circut?

to make a circuit you need, a hot wire black or red from your breaker, also a neutral. neutral is always white and a ground normally bare copper. so the answer is yes if there is a neutral hooked up. make sure when using 3 wire for two circuits to always use a double pole breaker, size breaker by wire size ei. #14 wire 15 amp #12 wire 20 amp #10 30 amp breaker

I supose you're talking about CIRCUITS:)) I would not recommend that. You don't say which wire is the fase and which is the neutral. In theory you can use the neutral wire for several circuits, but only the total amount of power load connected to those circuits will tell you if the diameter of the wire is compatible with it. Otherwise it may fire up your installation. Besides it's against the electrical norms. You can use the remaining wire for ground conection, but make sure it's not connected somewhere already. Just to avoid some short-circuit.
Be safe.

Not sure exactly what you have here.

Wire color doesn't matter. The electrons flow through the copper, not the insulation.
It should be possible to use one common ground wire for two circuits, depending on the device.
Without knowing what you're doing, all I can say is "it's possible".

yes, as stated. The common wire has to carry the current ot the total of both circuits, so calculate both circuit current loads to see if your wire size can handle it.
