babies....they are precious need to be taken care of
need nutrients, and need to be treated gently. they need to be warm out of the cold etc. etc. anyway it takes a lot of caring because they are so fragile. NOW HERES THE QUESTION
how the hell did cave men survive? dont you think they would treat the babies ruff or not feed them right maybe try to feed them adult food, smack em wit a club if they didnt stop crying. basically i am saying they didnt know $hit bout taking care of one. and dont give me that maternal instincs crap. SOme yes but i would think that the harsh elements would of claimed them or the predators or disease. HOW DID THEY DO IT?????? well however they did it im glad, cause now im here.

Maternal instincts is not crap. After all, no one taught wild animals how to take care of their young, and yet they do. Plus, i think youre thinking too much about the comical "cavemen" with the clubs and everything.

The cavemen used to have babies and were afraid of them because they couldn't figure out why they came out of the women. Since they were afraid they decided to give the baby to the wolf. The cavemen knew that wolf knew how to raise something so small because the wolf always was around in abundance. When the baby was 13 the wolf would bring the baby back to the cavemen and say that they were done with the baby and it needed to be with the caveman because the 13 yr old baby was no longer sweet and gentle. It had become a know it all and was rude and always treated the adult wolves with disrespect. That's how the babies survived. Good luck

its called the survival of the fittest, if the babies couldnt make it in whatever situation they were in or with the way they were treated they wouldnt survive. I would imagine when it came to feeding they were probably breast fed until they were old enough to eat regular food.

The motherinsticts always excisted. They knew to feed them breastmilk and treat them nicely, its instict.

in some ways they are smarter than us! they had to start from nothing....if they messed up one thing...where would we be right now?
