check out the biographies on the american ballet website. most of them say when the dancers started taking their lessons. a lot of them started pretty late. my ballet classes when i was 3 were really just overpriced one hour day care!!! ignore people that brag about being in diapers or whatever when they took their first class, you need to be older like 9 and up to focus and really appreciate it as an art form and a discipline.

Its never too late.............If you think you want to dance, go buy some shoes and take a class. No one stands at the door and decides who can and who can’t take a class.........And remember that your goals, attitude and outlook can make the difference between starting late and not starting at all.

No, its deffinately no longer too late. i'm 15 and basically started cutting-edge/lyrical dance and that i actually like it! that's certainly rather straightforward to %. up on, extraordinarily in case you have some ballet training. If no longer, evaluate transforming into a member of ballet. the terrific of success!

When you're dead...

But seriously, I don't think it's ever too late to learn serious dancing. Unless you are physically incapable of moving.

it depends if you want to make a career of it or not.. and also what field you are going into .. for instance.. if you tryn to be a professional dancer.. in the hiphop industry ..id say 27 is pushin it. because you always have the newer younger generation coming and upstaging you.. but then again if your amazing beyong all reason go for it.. because i know people in there 30s that are still steady working dancers.. but thats because there just amazing.. but if you want to take classes.. and be a serious dancer but not a working dancer.. any age is fine..

Never! Dance with your heart; let your feet move your soul; feel the joy of it and don't worry about what anyone else thinks.
