Larry the Cable Guy is the dumbest piece of crap ever. Carlos Mencia is average. Dave Chappelle is good, but Dane Cook is great.

Out of those, I'd say Carlo Mencia. I absolutely CAN NOT STAND Larry The Cable Guy.

Dave Chapelle hands down because of the skits he comes up with they are hilarious!! Dane Cook is a close second hes really funny too!

They may be the most known to 'you', but not necessarily to everyone else. Jim Gaffigan is pretty well known, too. So are a lot of other comedians.
Out of your choices, though, I'd have to pick Dane Cook. I really don't find the other ones that funny. Dane Cook can be funny, when he's not screaming.

It's a toss-up between Dane Cook and Chappelle. I have to go with the Dane train on this one. He's so witty. Not that Chappelle isn't, but Dane just is. That's that.
May I also suggest Demetri Martin? He's a little more subdued, but he's a very funny man.

I like them all but I'd say that Carlos (Ned) Mencia is the best because he isnt afraid to go after EVERYONE. Nobody is safe and nothing is sacred. I ALWAYS laugh my butt off when he'd on stage! He's great!
