Most likely, it's your new Rx. Depending on how much of the hormone is in the pill, it could be causing a longer, heavier period.
My doctor told me that if my period was still heavy on my bc pill, that she could change it to one that had lower levels of estrogen. In a lot of cases, she said, the lower estrogen pills helped lighten and shorten monthly periods.
If the spotting doesn't stop in the next couple of days, you should see your doctor.

I think it is definitely b/c of your pills. Try and get on a lower dose. Most females will understand - and know one knows who your are so ask away.
Don't stop the pills or you may have a major period - call you doctor and explain. Also sometimes it takes a full 30 days for your body to adjust to the new pills.

Your birth control may have everything to do with it or it may not. I know what birth control can without a doubt change your period in many ways, but I would ask my obgyn to be on the safe side.

if you started on the 9th, it should almost be over. brown discharge is supposed to be the end of your period,. because that is umm... well cleaning it out. and if it is a day late or even if its a couple days early, there is nothing to worry about, your period is not always going to be consistent.

it`s your body ajusting to the meds in your birth control, wait another month give it a chance to ajust its self to the new hormone amounts in your body. Have your gyn doctor explain (again maybe), how your birth control works. If the spotting continues without stopping, go see your doctor again, maybe he/she needs to ajust the RX for your birth control. Asking your own doctor who knows your medical history,is your best shot at getting your problem taken care of.

I would think that your symptoms are directly related to your BC pills. If it continues to be inconsistant, I would discuss this with the doc. It is probably perfectly normal, but if you're uncomfortable, then you should have it checked. It IS your body after all, you have a right to get an answer you're satisfied with.

It's most probably because of your birth control. Nothing you should worry about yet. If it continues and you start getting worried...then make sure to see a professional. :)
