If Israel was given the state since 1947 by the UN, why do the Palestinians try so hard to throw them out of thier own country?
The whole western world recognizes Israel as a state, Egypt did in 1978 and Jordan in 1996. Everbody else in the midle east is just being ignorant. Palestinians have no problems living in USA, making families of 6-10 children, having their mosques in every other city, and always cheating on taxes with their little business.. Many of them have been arrested for financing terrorism,However, they do have a problem with Israelies living on their own land and trying to make it the right way. What do you think about all that , and please, try to write without hatred, because I am not Muslim, nor Jewish, just an observer.

Israel absolutely has a right to defend itself. I am answering without hatred but it is hard to hide the anger I feel with people who would deprive Israel of that right. They are the ones who want war. Peace with Israel could be so simple yet these people can't give up their dream of eliminating jews from the face of the planet...and they will be cursed as long as they keep trying. I am disgusted by the way the radical left in this country(U.S.) spreads the propaganda of these muslim terrorists. I wish the whole bunch would move to the middleeast and take up arms against Israel and the United States because at least then they could no longer masquerade as peace loving Americans and could be dealt with as the enemies of democracy that they are.

Yes Israel has a right to defend itself, as do any other country in the world. The world is being hypocritical I think when they say that Israel should stop attacking while not pressuring Hamas and Hezbollah to stop indiscriminately launch rockets at Israeli civilians.
BTW In 1947 Palestine was supposed to be established on where the present West Bank and Gaza as well as certain other pieces of land are alongside Israel, but then the rest of the Arab nations launched their war against Israel because they dont want a Jewish state (basically they want a pure Islamic Middle East). Since then the Palestinian state was more or less forgotten as the Israelis destroyed every Arab army and air force sent against them and occupied the Palestininan territories ostenibly to enhance security. The rest is history.

I support Israel's right to exist, but you have to remember that the other nations in the region were forced to give up land. Imagine if your government came up to you one day and said, "Look, we're taking your living room and going to have a homeless family move in. You can't do anything about it. You can't go to the living room anymore, and everything that's in the living room is no longer yours. Oh, and you have to let the homeless family use the bathroom and have access to the other areas of the house so they can get in and out and do what's necessary to survive."

I'll bet most people wouldn't like that. Well, that's exactly what happened with Israel. You have to understand that, and you have to understand why those other nations don't like it. Yeah, the UN did it, but they didn't give the other nations a choice. They just did it.

Now, as for the Palestinians moving to the US, let me explain something, this is the US, we're a nation of immigrants. We love immigrants, and welcome them with open arms, so long as they come here legally. The Palestinians moving into the US is more like a person renting a room of his house. The Palestinians pay our government taxes, they live by our rules, and they adopt our government. Immigrating and forcefully taking over are two different things, and you are trying to compare them. I don't understand how that can be done.

As for them being arrested for financial fraud, yeah, and your point is what? Natural born Americans are arrested for murder, tax fraud, larceny, rape, oh, and did I mention murder? What's your point? A crime is a crime, all nationalities, races, genders, etc are guilty of crimes. That's not a good enough excuse. Remember, there's a difference between being forced to let someone live with you against your will and giving someone permission to live with you.

Because the axis of evil lies in those countries. Hezballah, Hamas, etc. have reigned over these people with cruelty and now they have "bought" they think respect and power. They are no different than Hitler and we know that he was not playing with a full deck, but reigned because he was feared.

Israel has fought 5 wars (I think) so far and know one has gotten the better of them. They moved from Palestine, gave up some of the West Bank, and for trying to be cooperative neighbors, get this? Do they deserve it? NO! Should the G8 countries band together in their defense. Absolutely. Otherwise you will see happen to them what happened to France when they tried to "talk" with Islamic Jhihadists in the intent that maybe they would be "safe" from terrorist attacks if they tap-danced with the enemy... WRONG! These terrorists cannot be "reasoned" with. You don't sit down for tea with them and chat. They only understand wiping out the infidels. And so, we must act accordingly. They don't want peace, they want supreme dominance. Again, not unlike Adolf....

I agree with you. if the world did not want Israel doing this, they shouldn't have been so eager to put Israel there to begin with. How uncool was that, seriously? We're giving you this piece of land, surrounded by people who hate you, where you will ever be the underdog, and then we're walking away to let you fend for yourselves.
so two-faced out of the UN. they ignore Darfur, they do nothing to stop standoffs like North Korea, then when war breaks out (that everyone saw coming) they're all surprised and upset. I mean come on.

Israel became a government the year I was born. If Israel were not a strong nation, they would have been overtaken years ago. I am not Jewish, however, I believe they have the right to defend themselves. Good thing, because the cowardly people who are trying to eliminate them are bullies....and you know the only thing bullies understand is strength!

Defense is a two way street. The Palestinians also deserve a homeland, and deserve dignity. The Israeli government gives them neither. All people deserve a homeland, not just the Israelites, and not just the Palestinians.

I laugh as you request to "try to write without hatred", as you have clearly stereo-typed Palestinians.

Israel has the right to defend itself. It has compromised. It has done what the world community has asked.
