I tend to think that blacks and whites are equally racist towards each other.

I do not believe all black people are more racist- that is a generality. I am a middle school teacher, and I see this occasionally happening in the schools. This is not just happening with black people. The hispanic students also may behave this way. I believe that this happens because the students want to be proud of themselves. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to isolating themselves, making hurtful comments to others, and ostracizing others. This also causes a problem when we are trying to educate all students about tolerance. A white student may end up developing ideas about the races by his or her experiences with a person struggling with this pattern of thinking. I think it is an immature developmental stage that must be improved.

No, but if they are then can you blame them, name me a time in the history of blacks that was not mistreated by whites and we don't even have to go back as far a slavery. Just go back what 40, 50, 60 years ago. For what ever reason blacks are not a racist as you would think base on what happen just 40 or so years ago.

They do, but thats because they react just as we would if we viewed them as they view us. We appear to be pretty hostile towards other races, and it doesnt help that the media makes it look like all white people loved beating the crap out of black slaves and that we think they are barbarians.
If they only knew the truth. 400,000 white americans died to free blacks 140 years ago. Most white people really like black people and feel that they dont get justice, but nodody expresses that to them.
For a black person who hasnt spent much time with white people, it would definately appear that white people are nuts. Just watch TV for an hour and think about what it looks like to them. we have all these conspiracies and crap. Its realy hard to trust us.

It's hardly just a Black and White issue any more - there are other countries and cultures (and some have neither Black nor White skin) that hate all of us.

In a nutshell:- everybody has equal rights to property and law (so we believe) not value and worth.and that's influenced by those.
Those in the know suppressing those that arnt, to cut down on the competition for a slice of the cake. Welcome to life!
May the fittest and strongest survive, as for the rest, well, they have the possibility to educate themselves and if they don't then they wern't seriously commited to enhancing the quality of their own lives.

Because you are only looking at those that are more bitter because they only look at whites who are racist. I think we all need to just chill and get along, and the outcasts of all of us who can't, don't let them be the center of our society, the rest of us that are good need to be the center of it.

thats not true. Did black people ever treat white people as slaves or hit them or kill them, or decide to have a seperate water fountain? or wait........it was the other way around.
