same reason girls do....people are impressed when others are strong and their own person and not just falling all over them...however some people take this too far and like people who are just plain mean....the key is to show independence of thought without being a jerk

My wife doesnt treat me like crap but i am in a lot of pain right now because she wants to seperate from me. I love her and cannot turn it off even though she isnt feeling the same way for me. It has nothing to do with how your being treated.

Usually because they either treat them like someway really special, that other women never have, or guys can get caught up in headgames the same way that girls who usually love men who treat them like crap do too.

It is about self respect, the chase itself, male ego and being ready for a committment. Typically anyone male or female that is ready to settle down doesn't want to marry someone that treats them like crap, but during the dating if it isn't amounting to anything more then fun, they see it as a challenge. Feeds the ego to get someone that is hard to get. I you have self respect then you would only want someone that helped you be better, made you feel better and treated you with respect.

It's not just a guy thing it goes the same with girls. People want to have to work for their love. It makes them feel special to know they earned the love that is given to them. Love would become boring, if it was easy and it eventually become worthless. My sister always keeps her men crazy in love with her and they take care of her too. She tells me all the time to be a b!+ch and they would do the same things for me.

regrettably i imagine once your unmarried you develop your self up so extreme that when the astounding guy stands decrease back and the crep comes over we do not understand the version. Then one guy treats you undesirable and all that self properly worth is going and also you already understand you do not imagine so exceptionally of your self so that you stay longer. Then some females imagine it truly is love.. unhappy even as the astounding adult males are so not basic to locate and take see you later to locate.

What guys really, really hate is neediness. If you can enjoy guys without needing them, you can write your own ticket with them.
I don't think guys like to be treated like crap, but they prefer it to clinging need and scenes when that need doesn't get satisfied.
