Why do people think John Kerry or Hillary were ever real contenders for the nations top job.

Who else are the lib's going to offer up? The best senator candidate for the Democrats (i.e. the one with the best chance of winning) would be John McCain.

Yes I know he is a Republican but he will never get nominated by the Republican party, but the libs will take him, just so he can beat Bush. Of course the libs haven't figured out yet that Bush is not able to run again, which has provided me with endless amusement these last few months.

well... I don't think that there is some sort of magic dust on governors or something...

I mean Kerry was close... especially for a war-time president... I think it was 48-51... if it wasn't war-time, he would've probably won...

tm_tech32: I've not seen anyone that said they thought Bush was running again?
