You should take classes and practice because Practice Makes Perfect!!!
(i know it is hard at first but if it gets that way still keep trying because tennis is an amazing sport to play plus it will get easier and more natural after a while!!!)

Take private lessons one on one. I find that to work the best. That is what I do and I learned so much more.

first discretely cup the ball in your hand, and extending your arm, hold the ball out in the direction in which you will serve. second carefully toss the ball in the air above you (being aware of your balance and really concentrating). third hit the ball to make it sail over the net.

Have someone teach you. That's one thing you can't learn on your own. If you try, you might actually make it worse. Take a class. It shouldn't be too expensive.
