I am going to a wedding and I need a long lasting foundation that you can find at a store like target. It really needs to be long lasting and not make my face look shiny after a while so that I have to keep running to the bathroom to blot!

Also I need to know if picking liquid, solid, or powder would be the best choice. And what about concealer? Does that go on before or after?

i'd skip the foundation...it's too much of a bother

maybe use a little concealer or just powder to keep your skin from looking shiny

here are some tips and products that should help you:

MAYBELLINE has some great products that seem to be exactly what you are looking for: (plus, they are affordable and can be purchased at target!!)

1.
EXPRESS MAKEUP SHINE CONTROL BUFF (maybelline)
-it has a long lasting matte-finish
-and it covers blemishes
-controls shine!!

2. [[[[SEEMS PERFECT FOR YOU]]]]
MAYBELLINE PURE POWDER (i have this, it's great!)
-very natural looking
-stands up to heat and humidity
-shine free finish
-light weight, natural coverage

COVERGIRL:
1. LIQUID FOUNDATION
COVER GIRL FRESH LOOK MAKEUP
-this is a liquid and controls shine and has oil control
-it also has SPF

i think the above would all be great choices for you, especially the MAYBELLINE PURE POWDER. it just depends on how much coverage you need, for less coverage use powder, for medium coverage use tinted moisturizer (covergirl also makes that), and for full coverage, use liquid foundation. i would say that the powder foundation is the most breathable and ligthweight.

and use concealer to cover blemishes and other spots before applying a foundation for a flawless finish!

((gold and natural shimmery tones will look great. you could also use blues to make your eyes pop, just not dreary and dull blues. but golds and shimmery tones will be your best bet))

i hope that this helps! enjoy the wedding!

Revlon Active Wear foundation is very good and pretty long lasting, you can get it at Target too. x)

And the powder goes on after concealer and foundation to set it.

Oh and to answer your other question, you could pretty much pull of any bright color, but golds or green would look very nice.

I don't know your age...I use all mineral make-ups all the time except that I am going to a family member's wedding next month and MAC will come to the hotel and do everyone's make-up. It is 100.00 each plus tip but well worth it....I have had it done before. Lasts all night and you can't dance or sweat it off.....you have to touch up your lips as you eat and drink and air-kiss all night long....lol....
